Matcha DNA™ tea is organically grown and hand picked. It can been made as delicious tea, latte, martini or used in food like green tea ice cream and cooking.

Few people know that the current practice of drinking powdered tea in the Japanese tea ceremony is actually from the song dynasty in China. It dates back to over 1,000 years ago. This practice was carried on in Japan and is now considered a pillar of Japanese culture. Today. once again high quality Matcha is being made in China.
The tea has a slightly different character than its Japanese counterpart. Both teas have a deep green color and thick, savory taste and texture. Both are high in EGCG and antioxidants. However, our Chinese MatchaDNA™ is smoother, without the bitterness, and has rich, smooth and fresh taste unlike any other!

***My Personal Review***

This is the second tea I was lucky enough to try from Matcha DNA - I tried their Green Tea and it was delicious.  This one was quite a bit different because it was a black tea.  It still had a very good and bold flavor and the leaves are ground into a powder and you can purchase it as the powder to mix directly with your water.  And when you open the bag it smells sweet, not like any tea I have ever had.  It looks like cocoa powder :)

I am not big on drinking tea but I tried it and it was good!  I drank my first cup at night which may have been a mistake because I found that it gave me a little extra energy which was bad for bedtime LOL.  I did a little reading up on it and apparently it is also good for women going through menopause and assists in strengthening your body.  It does need to be sweetened with something if you like a little sweetness in your tea - agave syrup or Yacon Root syrup would be a great organic touch to this tea.  Like the Green Tea, this could easily be used in smoothies, cooking and baking to give it some extra flavor and would help put a little spring in your step!  Less caffeine, healthier, and a lot more antioxidants and minerals!

Dr. Oz has featured this product on his show and endorses it :)  And as most people are aware Dr. Oz is all about becoming healthier and having a better life.  He said it is "The Tea Every Woman Should Drink" and goes on to ask what if you could boost your immunity, control your stress and lose weight with one simple drink? Medicine Hunter Chris Kilham says you can with matcha! Learn about its health benefits and how much you should drink!  Visit Dr. Oz's website to learn more and watch his video on this product :)

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
